Overview

A daily devotional app that brings morning and evening audio devotionals, reflections, and scripture to believers — wherever they are.

Revelation 14 Ministries needed a mobile platform to deliver their daily devotional content to a growing community of believers. We designed and built a Flutter app for iOS and Android — giving users a personalised, immersive way to engage with morning and evening devotionals, listen to audio teachings, and take notes on their spiritual journey.

The Challenge

The ministry was distributing devotional content through fragmented channels — social media, WhatsApp groups, and email. There was no unified experience, no way to archive past content, and no offline access for users in low-connectivity areas. The team needed a dedicated, branded app that felt as intentional as the content itself.

Our Approach

We built a Flutter app with a deep navy design language that reflects the ministry's identity — reverent, immersive, and personal. The home screen surfaces that day's morning and evening devotionals immediately. An audio player with full playback controls lets users listen anywhere. Offline downloads, push notifications for daily devotional reminders, and a notes feature for personal reflection round out the experience. Firebase powers authentication, crash reporting, and push delivery.

The Outcome

The app launched on iOS and Android with a growing subscriber base receiving daily devotionals. Push notification delivery replaced fragmented messaging channels, and the immersive audio player became the most-used feature in the app. The ministry now has a direct, branded channel to their community — built to scale.
